PATENTOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF TECHNOLOGYS IN CEMENT PRODUCTION TO REDUCE THE IMPACT OF HARMFUL FACTORS OF PRODUCTION AT CEMENT PLANT
Evstropov V.M., Omelchenko E.V., Afanasev V.E.

The degree of harmful influence of dust on human health depends on the physico-chemical properties of dust, size of its particles (diameter less than 5-10 microns long they are in the air and penetrate to the alveoli ) and others. Known that cement dust has an irritant effect on the skin, and causes hypertrophic and atrophic changes of the nasal mucosa, pharynx and larynx, оbstructive changes in the respiratory tract and has a fibrogenic effect on lung tissue. In addition, it is shown that at the staff employed in the production of cement and in the construction industry, there is typically an increased incidence of cancer of the throat and larynx. The penetration of dust into the pores of the sweat and sebaceous glands leads to dry skin that sometimes cracks. Dust caught in the eye causes conjunctivitis.

Additives introduced into the raw mix determine the grade of cement and contain up to 40% of free silicon dioxide, which causes pneumoconiosis. Pneumoconiosis in a cement plant does not occur so often - only in the manufacture of pozzolanic, acid-proof and masonry cement [1,2].

The main sources of dust in the production of cement are: rotary kilns, clinker grinding mills, crushers for raw materials, processes for packing and loading cement [3]. 70-80% of all dust of cement production comes in with gases leaving the kiln [4].

The patentologing concept is based on a structurally-integrative approach. Stages of a patent study on the topic under consideration include: 1) preprocessing patent arrays on a given topic and the formation of a thematically restricted locus of patent data (the locus of a thematically restricted patent or patent information space); 2) the patentological analysis of the results obtained, and 3) technology analysis from the classification point of view [5]. Proceeding from the main provisions of this concept, the patentological aspects of production [6] and construction technologies [7,8], engineering [9] and technosphere [10] were previously studied.

For conducting a patenological study, a patent information database is assembled, united by a common goal and elements of patent and technical solutions in this direction. We believe that the main areas of patent research aimed at improving cement manufacturing technologies by reducing the impact of harmful effects of cement dust on the organism of a cement plant worker may be the following: improvement of pozzolan, acid-proof and masonry cement manufacturing technologies, development of highly efficient dust collection facilities, development of types of cement with a minimum content of free silica. In our opinion, in-depth patentological studies in this area are quite promising.
