THE RELATED QUALITY OF LIFE PATIENTS HEALTH STATUS WITH THE CORONARY HEALTH DISEASE: THE «CORDIS QoL» STUDY SUBANALYSIS
Lazarev A.V.
The life quality of the cardio-surgery patients with the ischemic heart disease, having used the «SF-36 Health Status Survey» non-specific questionnaire has been assessed in the paper.

The cardio-vascular diseases (e.g. CVD) are the wide-world number one cause of the death. According the WHO data (e.g. 2011), the CVD have already become of the cause of the death in 30% of the cases throughout the world. In Russia, in 2011, CVD in the general mortality rates structure have been made up 56%, which is the significant challenge, as for the public health system, well as for the society and the state, as a whole [1,2].

The study patients’ data of the CORonary surgery DISability and Quality of Life (CORDIS QoL) – The effect study of the coronary surgery upon the life and disability quality have already been used in the given sub-analysis.

The patients, having admitted and hospitalized in the clinic, in which the operative and/or the interventional (e.g. endovascular) interference (including diagnostic), concerning the ischemic heart disease in the CDI of Nizhniy Novgorod had been shown, became the study of the object.

The main inclusion criteria in this study have been the following: the planned cardio-surgery interference, the operative or interventional (e.g. endovascular) interference, including diagnostic; the accommodation and the registration in the Nizhniy Novgorod region; the patients’ age is older, than 18 years old.

The 120 patients have already been included in this study.

So, the necessary information collection has been produced, by means of the «SF-36» questionnaire, which is consisted of the 36 items that are grouped in the eight scales: the physical functioning; the role activities; the bodily pain; the general health; the vitality; the social functioning; the emotional state; and the mental health.

The calculation has already been performed, according to the Instructions on the data processing, having obtained using the «SF-36» questionnaire, using the «Microsoft Excel 2007» spreadsheets application, with the further test results on the «SF-36® PCS», «MCS», and «NBS Calculator», available on the Internet at «www. sf-36.org».

Thus, the special data base has already been used, having created on the basis of the DBMS «Microsoft Access 2007» for the survey results’ modification and maintaining. The results’ statistical analysis of this study has been carried out in the specialized «SPSS 16.0» and «STATISTICA 6.0» statistical applications. All the necessary data have already been presented, as «M±SD».

The results of the life quality evaluation of the cardiac patients have been presented in the following Table:

According to the made study, the life quality physical component in the patients undergoing cardiac surgery is practically suffered, to a greater extent, than the psychological one, as well as the associated components with it: the role functioning (RP) – 19 points, the role – emotional functioning (RE) – 30 points, with low level of the general health status (GH) – 35 points, but with the sufficient level of the social functioning (SF) – 55 points, and the vitality (VT) – 50 points.
